Unity

The human race is at a crossroads in our evolution. The choices we make over the next few years will determine the course of human existence. We can either come together and make the changes we need, or continue along our curent path to our inevitable self-destruction.

The universe as an engine

I am no physicist by any means, but here is the universe as I see it. I think the universe is a gigantic bipolar electromagenetic engine. Think about it. I don't understand where it came from, or how it came into being. But the universe is an engine. It's spinning and everything is spinning around everything else. Everything is positive or negative. The universe, galaxies, constellations, pulsars, planets, even electrons all spin. All generating electromagnetic energy. Electromagenetic force is the sole driving principle behind everything in this universe. Generated by the most perfect powerplant, the universe. This limitless electromagnetic energy is present everywhere in the vacuum of space, which can be found in the molecules of all matter. Time itself is generated by the spinning of the universe.

I saw our planet as an electromagnetic engine. A liquid core of molten metal spinning between a positive and negative pole generating a huge electromagnetic field that powers nature itself. Our planet is one small generator that forms the power grid of the universe. Time is the power line that connects everything in synchronicity.

Even atoms are positive and negative. They and other smaller particles are tiny electromagnetic engines that add their energy to the universe's power grid.

Nikola Tesla and others were well on their way to tapping that energy. Conventional physicists ignored them. Maybe for the better. This path leads to the limitless energies of the universe. Perhaps our species is not ready to tap that energy. It can be used for good beyond imagination. It can also cause equal destruction. The best we can hope for is balance.

Nature is balance. Good and evil. Yin and yang. Positive or negative. As long as we have balance, we have existence. This is why we must accept the good with the bad. It is existence.

Think of the universe as a globe spinning along its axis . A positive and negative pole. Time is the axis. It spins and generates electromagnetic energy. Gravitational force is generated by the spin. Other universes rotate as electrons all generating their forces of electromagnetism and gravity.

Time is synchronicity. The passage of time is reality. Time is the force that drives the engine of the universe.

Time
Gravity
Electromagnetic

The forces of nature.

If we figure out the mysteries of the universe, I hope we are responsible enough to use the knowledge wisely, but I fear we are not. I have no idea if we are the sole inhabitants of the universe but it would be an unbelievable shame to destroy ourselves if the universe was meant for us alone.

Sorry about the ramble. Will I even understand what I was trying to say in the morning? Thanks to Temika and Mary Jane.

Things are heating up

The middle east is in turmoil and the American dollar is on the shitter. What I can't figure out is why the Americans don't use their untold billions of dollars to develop and produce their own cheap/free energy and end their dependence on foreign oil and relations. The technology is there. Why surpress it or delay it. Doesn't make any sense at all.

Are they afraid if the develop ot someone else will copy it and be as powerful as they are. It's going to happen anyways... if it already hasn't.

No wonder we suck

So I just saw a commercial on TV for the new Hummer H3. A guy is emasculated in a grocery check out because he was buying all kinds of health food... emphasis on the tofu. He sees a Hummer brochure, goes to the dealer and drives away in one with the caption Restore Your Manhood in huge block letters as the commercial ends. At first I just kinda sat there with my mouth open... shit we all think it but never say it... and then I laughed my ass off. Now whenever I see a guy in a Hummer I will know his penis is probably small or his girlfriend beats him up.

The commercial did make think about how we are hypnotised everyday and almost literally being programmed by the corporations. Its no wonder we are overconsumers. We are being told everyday we have to buy all of this shit to be happy. Most of us believe it. I don't think we should give all our stuff away and become monks but we can slow down just a bit. Ok, I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I drive a Cadillac, but I bought it before I knew all this and it's 12 years old. The fuel economy sucks, but if I buy a new car, it will actually cost more to make it in resources and oil, then my car will burn during the rest of it's expected life. By then... I hope we have a free or really cheap, non-polluting energy vehicle.

And no, my penis isn't small and my girlfriend doesn't hit me :) (I know your thinking it though)

The situation as I see it.

Things are looking pretty bad for the future of humanity in its current state. Our world is growing increasingly polluted. Climate change is rearing its ugly head. Economic stability is precarious. Resources such as fresh water, arable land, oil, and vital precious metals are dwindling and are becoming increasingly more costly as demand increases. World politics are a mess. The corporations are sucking the planet, and it's people dry. Overpopulation will soon be a problem... and already is in many countries. It will soon be another global dilemma to face with the attending problems it brings... increased resource depletion and disease.

While most politicians and corporations get fat, the segment of the worlds population that would be able to make the changes we need to make are too busy watching mindless drivel on TV or worrying about making more money so they can buy more useless things that consume more non-renewable resources.

That segment of the population is us. We, the people in the developed countries. We alone are the ones that can make the descision to help humanity. We have the money, the education, and the resources to start making changes. We need to get our collective heads out of the sand, get together and force the corporations and the politicians to make changes so our civilization can survive.

What can you do?

Easy. Educate yourself.

Find out what is really happening in the world. There is an amazing tool at your disposal that has access to the collective knowledge of the human race thus far. The Internet. The largest library in history. Read books, watch educational television. Forget the canned news that the networks offer. It's all sanitized, financed and controlled by the corporations and politicians that really don't want you to really know what is going on.

To start you on your long journey towards enlightenment, here are a few keywords to put into your favorite search engine.

Peak Oil
Zero point energy
Overpopulation
Resource depletion
World economic stability

Some of the links will be very technical, some will be greatly simplified. I guarantee that most of them will be downright scary. Don't buy into the fear mongering, just educate yourself and see that we do have options... we just have to make sure that our world leaders, governments and corporations use the ones that are best for humanity as a whole, not just one small segment of our global society.

That's enough for today. I will leave you with some nice light reading with a little letter I wrote a few years ago when I first became truly aware that we were on a collision course with disaster.

As scary as it all is, I have faith in the fact that we can do what we need to do to not just survive, but flourish. You should too.

The fall of Humanity

The fall of Humanity

The fall of humanity is coming and most of you don’t even know it. Everyone is so preoccupied with their own existence and the problems in it that not a thought is spared in thinking about the future of humanity as a whole. We have become a society of over-indulgence because we are told every day that we need to have more. More TVs, more computers, more cars with more horsepower and the list is endless. The end of civilization as we know it its staring us right in the face, yet most can’t see it and those that can, choose to ignore it.

The apocalyptic prophesies of a hundred religions will most likely take place in the lifetimes of anyone reading this letter. The wars, the famines, the pestilence, all of it are on the way and it is not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. When? That’s a question with many variables, but let me assure you it will begin within 30 years, or it could start tomorrow.

It’s all about the oil. We are running out, and quickly. Most scientists and geologists predict we have between 30 to 40 years of it left, based in current consumption levels. The earth was endowed with roughly 2000 billion barrels of oil. As of the turn of this century, we have used about half. As of 2003, we as a planet consume about 28 billion barrels of oil per year. Simple math can figure out the rest. Divide 1000 by 28 and we get 35.7 That’s almost 38 years left, based on current consumption levels. The problem is, demand will not stay at current consumption levels. The population is increasing, by 2025 there will be about 8 billion people on this planet, all of them driving up the demand for oil. Herein lies another problem; we don’t have to run out to be in deep trouble.

Since 1998, oil has risen in price over 450%. In 98 it was 11 dollars a barrel. Now, in 2004 it is over 50 dollars a barrel. Almost every single thing we do, buy or even eat requires oil, and cheap oil at that. Modern medicine, agriculture, transportation, essentially everything, depends on petrochemicals. Food, medicine, plastics, electronics, machinery, everything. As demand increases and supply drops, the price will rise on all of these things, and they will rise to astronomical levels. Farmers will not be able to afford fuel for their machines, or pesticides for their crops. If they can afford them, it will reflect in the price of foodstuffs, and millions can’t afford to eat even now. Civil services will break down. Millions, especially those in the cities that depend on transportation of food that is no longer produced locally, will begin to starve. How many will be able to afford electrical power that is largely generated by oil? What about those that heat their homes with oil? We are already feeling the pinch and the worst is yet to come. The nation states of this planet are poised on the brink of a huge series of resource wars. We can already see it coming in the Middle East. It’s not about terrorism; it’s about controlling what is left of a dwindling resource. If war comes, collapse will come even faster. War uses a tremendous amount of oil.

I think people in general believe that some advancement in technology will save us. We all think that scientists are working round the clock to develop new technologies for generating power. They are, and only have about 35 years to find the miracle that will save us all. Oil has been the father of invention on this planet for 150 years. We need it desperately to develop the technology that will enable us to bridge the gap between our planet and the stars. The only way for humanity to survive and flourish is to expand outwards. We are already on the brink of this planets ability to support itself with the billions of people we have on it, with more on the way. Unless we develop the technology to supply us with the power we need to get off this planet, humanity will reach an evolutionary dead end. We need what precious little oil is left to propel our species forward. If we squander it away, we will never leave this planet, and humanity will begin its downward spiral to extinction. If we run out, before we develop this and other technologies, our massive population will consume every non-renewable resource this planet has to offer and then it will be gone forever. If we are lucky, our species will survive, but it will be at a pre-industrial level and will stay that way. Oil is non-renewable. Once it is gone… so goes any hope of the advancement of our species.

World leaders, modern industry, the financial system, and each and every person on this planet need to do everything they can to ensure this doesn’t happen. We need to change our habits, and change them now. It will be a huge, bitter pill to swallow. The changes will not come easy, not with 6.5 billion mouths to feed and heat but change must come. The higher the population is when the changes come, the greater the shock when it does. It is as inevitable as the setting sun. Many people will think, well, it’s not my problem. Think about your children, think about your grandchildren, and think about your friends and their kids. Think about the future of humanity. Do you want to see the last of the human species squatting in the decaying ruins of our own greatness, struggling to survive on the scraps of what’s left of this world, or do you want to see humanity spreading and flourishing beyond the confines of this tiny little planet. The choice is not up to those in power, the choice is up to each and every one of us. Only we, the people, can make the changes we need to make to ensure the very survival of our species.
